Seat Selection for Tessitura Packages
Audiences love choosing their own seats. Arts organisations love TNEW. We built a solution that lets you offer both.
Audiences love choosing their own seats. Arts organisations love TNEW. We built a solution that lets you offer both.
Through years of working with Arts organisations, we’ve seen time and again that audiences prefer the ability to select their own seats when booking events. Many of our clients use Tessitura, relying on its powerful TNEW platform to deliver a streamlined checkout experience.
We saw an opportunity to enhance the multi-event booking experience by developing a standalone Select-Your-Own-Seat (SYOS) tool — one that works seamlessly with package and subscription purchases on
TNEW, while preserving all the benefits of Tessitura.
Built with mobile audiences in mind, our SYOS tool was first launched with RNZB, and draws on foundational work undertaken with Melbourne Recital Centre and Queensland Ballet. The result is a responsive, intuitive seat selection experience that integrates cleanly into the Tessitura ecosystem.
The product has redefined how our patrons can interact with our organisation, which will continue to provide dividends over the years to come.
Our SYOS tool was custom-developed to sit alongside TNEW to enhance your audience’s experience. It allows patrons to select their seats across all performances in their package in a modern, intuitive interface, while keeping Tessitura at the heart of the ticketing workflow.
Real-time integration with Tessitura’s seat map and availability
Designed to work within your existing Tessitura infrastructure
Modular and extendable to support your organisational needs
Can be styled to feel visually aligned with your site and brand
Our SYOS tool is offered as a subscription service — making it quicker and easier for organisations to adopt without the cost or complexity of bespoke design and development.
With the launch of our SYOS tool for RNZB, we delivered immediate audience benefits. The seat selection process became faster and more intuitive, giving users greater control and a seamless experience across all devices.
Patrons could zoom and pan within seating maps, filter seats by price and section, and review their bookings before finalising payment through TNEW’s standard checkout.
Meanwhile, box office teams were reassured that everything remained in sync with Tessitura, while reducing the time staff spent assisting patrons with seat selection queries.
As more organisations look to deliver modern booking experiences while continuing to leverage TNEW, our SYOS tool bridges the gap — providing the flexibility audiences want, with the reliability teams trust.
